In August, we have concluded our third edition of music youth exchange, this time named “United in Music”. Participants from Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom have been dedicating their time to music and intercultural dialogue between 30.7. and 7.8.2018 in Camp Kolpa Vinica.

Through choir singing, developing vocal and performance techniques, conduction of own music workshops and intercultural dialogue exercises, participants were developing several skills while obtaining non-formal competences. However, the most important competence of our youth exchange resulted in building bridges between different cultures. We have prepared a short video presentation of our program:

The feelings and happiness of participants when realizing how fast intercultural obstacles can be actually overcome, can also be seen on our Facebook page and in our evaluation videos:

We, the organizing team, are also very satisfied with how the program has been developed. We have spent 9 sunny unforgettable days with the participants by the Kolpa river and most of all, we once again realized what an important tool music is in order to establish and enhance intercultural dialogue.
